The Tour de France director Christian Prudhomme urged other international sports federations to investigate doping in their sports, like cycling has done in response to past doping scandals. Prudhomme welcomed a new independent report on cycling's history with doping, saying that cycling was a leader in implementing anti-doping measures like the biological passport in 2008. However, Prudhomme cautioned that the fight against doping requires constant effort and cycling cannot become complacent in its efforts.
