Open Education Week is an annual celebration held from March 10-15 that raises awareness about the global Open Education Movement and the opportunities it creates for free and open teaching and learning worldwide. The movement promotes free and open participation in online and local events along with educational resources to spread awareness about how open education can positively impact education globally.

2. The third annual Open Education Week takes place from March 10-15, with both online and locally
hosted events around the world.
