Name Search
The first step when registering any business in Kenya is performing a name search. You are
required to submit three names of your desire to the registrar at a cost of KES. 450. The
submitted names may be accepted or rejected depending on rules governing name
reservation or existence of another business with a similar name. You shall also be required
to pay a fee of KES 200 for the Business account.
When forming a limited company in Kenya, the law requires that certain documents must be
