This document discusses social video games and three design principles for them. It lists several popular social video games like EyeToy, Singstar, Guitar Hero, and Wii games. It then presents three principles for social video game design: have a low process intensity that doesn't require much from players; allow the social context between players to change flexibly; and utilize the body as an output device in addition to an input device.
