This is an experimental
Lightning Talk where I try to
keep babbling Japanese for 5
minutes

3. 日本人とこちらの人たちで交流がなかなかな
いことを嘆いている方々がいるという話を聞
きました。
So you say we have some sort of
dis-communication between Japan
and European/US world.

4. 確かに移動には20時間かかるくらい遠いで
すから、なかなかお互いのことを知る機会は
ありませんわな。
Sure, when it takes 20 hours to get
from there to here, it s hard to get
to know each other.

5. でもあまりにも僕たちのことしらなくて、こ
のへんに住んでると思ってない？
But you folks know so little about us, We
actually suspect that you think that us
Japanese live around here…

6. 昨日のこの人のトークに
出てきた日本の技術がこ
ちらになかなかでてこな
いって話もあったよね。
Yesterday somebody asked Why
aren t Japanese technologies more
popular elsewhere?

11. 日本からここまで20時間以上か
かったけど、インターネットなら
日本からヨーロッパまでのRTTは
300msくらいだぞ
It did take us more than 20 hours to
get here from Japan, but RTT time
on the net between Japan and
Europe is only about 300ms, dude!
