Peiling uitgevoerd door ECN onder 1200 jongeren 17-26 jaar. Jongeren geven aan dat zij duurzame energie belangrijk vinden. Meer dan 80 procent van de jongeren vindt dat Nederland meer gebruik moet maken van hernieuwbare energiebronnen en meer duurzame energie zou moeten opwekken. Toch houdt maar een kleine 10 procent van de jongeren bij het maken van hun studiekeuze rekening met een baan in de duurzame energiesector. En bijna de helft van alle jongeren weet geen enkel bedrijf te noemen dat actief is op het gebied van duurzame energie.
