This study evaluated 40 overweight/obese children aged 2-15 years at Hue Central Hospital to determine blood lipid levels and hepatic steatosis status. The results found disturbances in lipid parameters in overweight/obese children compared to controls, including elevated triglycerides (50%), cholesterol (37.5%), and LDL-C (17.5%), as well as low HDL-C (25%).
