We have been working hard and learning lots:
                Math: We have been counting and integrating addition and subtraction
                by incorporating money (coins) into our lessons.
                Language: By now your children are able to identify letters and sounds
                quite rapidly. They have also memorized the following words: a the

                Social Studies/Science/Health: As we focus on daily living children have
                been talking about eating healthy foods and brushing after meals. The
                Weekly Reader was titled “Whose Teeth Are These?”.


  What’s Next…
  Social Studies/Science/Health: This month we will be learning
  about animals by reading What Can a Baby Animal Do?
  Math: As we continue to con concentrate on numbers, by using
  abacuses. The class will work on adding: tens, twos and ones
  by counting by 1s, 2s, 5s, 10s to 100.
  Language: We will be reading Duck and Goose and Curious
  George’s Dinosaur Discovery. Booklets will be sent home - -
  please have your child read them to you.
