Charlie Daniels' twanging guitar, the smell
of deep-fried food and the exuberance of a
patriotic crowd.
Thousands of people - many dressed in
stars and stripes - flooded onto the field to
celebrate Independence Day. The blazing
hot July sun couldn't keep them away from
the post's fun-filled annual event featuring
games, live music, free-falling paratroopers
and fireworks.
