3. Newmor studio
Bespoke design
Newmor Studio is our dedicated in- house design studio
which not only creates new product ideas for Newmor
Group but also offers a bespoke design service to clients.
Significant investment has been made in our CAD systems
and digital printing hardware within the studio giving the
flexibility to produce large samples for customer approval,
as well as trial room quantities.
The Studio is closely integrated into the company
manufacturing plant which allows the designers and
colourists to work closely with the production printing
team. This gives a great sense of continuity to any design
project from initial design concepts right through to bulk
production.

7. IMO marine
IMO Marine Certification
Our manufacturing facility has “Works Approval Certification” for the production of Fabric Backed Vinyls in accordance with IMO Marine
Certification.
This means that all our fabric backed wallcoverings can be manufactured to conform to the requirements of IMO marine certification.
With regards to the issuing of appropriate certification, it is common practice to submit “Type Approval Certification” in advance of
production, but, as each new batch has to have individual certification, the “Declaration Of Conformity To Type” will follow after the
product has been manufactured.

All our ex-stock wallcoverings incorporate OBPA, an active biostabiliser to prevent the growth of fungi,
actinomycetes and bacteria, helping to reduce the spread of superbugs such as MRSA.
Enhanced durability
Engineered to withstand impact, abrasion, high volumes of traffic and frequent cleaning, our products are

manufacturing systems that minimise environmental impact. We operate an Environmental Management System based on ISO 14001.
Low carbon footprint
The vast majority of our products are manufactured in the UK by us. Consequently the use of our products will help you minimise the harmful
environmental effects associated with the transportation of imported wallcoverings.
“Horses for courses”
Manufacturing a wide range of all types of wallcoverings, both vinyl’s and non vinyl’s, offering either water based or solvent based ink technology,
whatever the product, we have always concentrated on minimising our environmental impact.
Re-cycling / disposal
Wallcoverings generally form an insignificant amount of our waste; even so, many projects are being organised in the UK and Europe, to re-cycle
plastic waste. Contrary to common belief, PVC is no more difficult or costly to re-cycle than any other plastic.
If incinerated in equipment with heat recovery and scrubbing facilities, the heat produced is used to generate electricity and the hydrogen
chloride is recovered for re-use. PVC does not contribute to the amount of dioxins when incinerated. None of our wallcoverings are classified as
hazardous; elements of them are biodegradable and they are considered to be extremely safe and stable landfill material.
Manufacturing
Whichever, products you chose, you can be sure of our commitment to the environment. Our manufacturing facility is constantly monitored,
both in-house and independently to ensure full compliance with the Environmental Protection Act. We have made significant investment in areas
such as emission control and compactors that go beyond simply fulfilling our legal obligations.
