A neighborhood clean up event is being held on May 5th from 8am to 12pm where volunteers will meet at Lizzie Chapel Baptist Church. Volunteers are asked to help clean up the neighborhood by placing unwanted items at the curb or in a dumpster located at the old car wash on Napier Ave, with the exception of construction debris. The event is organized by Manna Ministries, Lizzie Chapel Baptist Church, and the Macon Public Works Department to prevent pollution and keep the neighborhood safe. Volunteers can contact the numbers or email provided with any questions and are invited to stay for lunch after the clean up.
