Who can tell me why is The Dead Sea called Dead?
It's called the Dead Sea because nothing lives in it. It is the saltiest water in the world, almost 6 times as salty as the ocean!
Who can tell me why the Dead sea is so salty?
Once the waters reach the Dead Sea they are land-locked and have nowhere to go, so they evaporate, leaving behind a dense, rich, cocktail of salts and minerals.
The Dead Sea is flanked by mountains to the east and the rolling hills of Jerusalem to the west. The water level of the Dead Sea is dropping by about 1 foot per year. Scientists predict that the sea may be dried up by the year 2050. So, my friends, if you are planning to come and see The Dead Sea, make sure you do that before 2050 
The Dead Sea is 80 kilometres(50 miles) long, approximately 14 kilometers (9 miles) wide.
Nature's living miracle a place to feel younger and restore both for body and mind
Look at these girls? What are they doing? Why do you think they are covered in black mud? Do you think their shower has broken?
Forget about showers and soap -This mud has healing powers!!! R ich in life-enhancing minerals, the Dead Sea’s water and mud have healing Power!!! This unique body of water is a geological phenomenon that came into being in some 3 million years ago !!!
Tourists coat themselves in the revitalizing black mud to keep healthy. Medical research has proved that these minerals treat and preventing various diseases such as acne and rheumatism. Cleopatra The Queen of beauty Cleopatra was a Queen of ancient Egypt and is legendary as the most beautiful woman in the world at that time. So what did the most powerful and beautiful woman in the world at the time think about cosmetics from The Dead Sea? During the Egyptian conquest it is said that Queen Cleopatra obtained exclusive rights to build cosmetic and pharmaceutical factories in the area. Their remains can still be seen today.
