Analog is the rowdy little
brother to the Burton brand,
always charging and just looking
to have fun. Hired on as Senior
Designer in 2007 at Mage
Design to work directly with
Analog’s inhouse merchandiser,
we explored new ways of
making the classics fresh, fun
and functional. In a smaller line
each peice must have a good rea-
son to exist, forcing us to push
each design to its best outcome.

Adding tech twists, aggressive
graphics, harmonious color
stories and eclectic prints to
military, workwear, mountaineer
and sport silhouettes allowed us
to have a range of options and
style that all flowed together.

and exploring new style while
keeping a classic coolness is a
hallmark of the Analog brand.
Clothes for real dudes who shred

Danny Davis is one cool dude;
freindly, humble, funny and
rugged. Designing his signature
gear for Analog each season was
always a highlight. He would
bring in some direction and
thoughts then turn me loose.
And each year I did my best
to provide him with the most
unique, thought out and
collected signature details.
Always a happy outcome.

CREATIVE DIRECTION
Started in the early 90’s by my
brother in Mammoth lakes,
MissionSix became a champion
of progressive style and attitude
in the snowboard world. I was
always interested in art so my
brother began throwing me
various art and graphic projects
in highschool. As time
progressed and my skills grew he
moved me into product design
and ultimately into a partner/
creative director role. We had a
blast and did whatever the F@#k
we wanted to.

  • 1. MAGE DESIGN / ANALOG 2007-2014 PRODUCT DESIGN Analog is the rowdy little brother to the Burton brand, always charging and just looking to have fun.
