Luxmi O'Connell grew up in Eden Prairie, Minnesota and was adopted from India as a baby. She has interests in music, participating in concert and marching bands playing clarinet, as well as track, pole vaulting, writing, drawing, painting and reading. She is currently pursuing a double major in elementary education and special education to become a special education teacher working with children. In 10 years, she envisions being a married special education teacher with possibly children of her own.
