Essay: Someone I Admire

For many years people have judged and criticized others for not being
“good enough”. The world is always worried about who is pretty or
who isn’t; who is skinny or who isn’t. They’re always trying to find
fault in others. Nobody is or ever will be perfect. Many people try to
act perfect but there is no one in this world that is or ever will be
perfect.
A lot of people do things for attention. Some people can do the smallest
little things- not for anyone to see them but just to know that they are
doing something in God’s name even if it’s just someone who cleans the
bathrooms.
My Mom is and has been my inspiration all of my life. When I cried she
held me; when she had tough days at work and didn’t feel good, she still
loved me and cared for me. She works the nursery sometimes and every
Wednesday night she teaches four year olds. She has a broken foot and
is still very persistent in every thing she does. She does everything to
the best of her ability. Everything she says or does inspires me. I know
she isn’t perfect-no one is- but she will always inspire me. I love my
Mom. Every morning she gets up and prays for everyone in our family.
She asks God to protect and help her family every day.
When there’s a decision to make and you don’t know what to do….she
will help you know right from wrong. She tells me, “Do everything in
Jesus’ name and you will be blessed.” She inspires me so much. She
makes me want to be a better person. She always brings out the good in
people. She loves unconditionally. One day I am going to grow up and
be just like my MOM! She is my spiritual leader.
