My Film Pitch By Abi Nanthakumar
The Flower of Immortality 	The name of my film will be called ‘The Flower of Immortality. Inspiration:
Narrative Emily is a geeky girl who has a crush on the popular guy, Chris She has a geography trip to the Amazon On the flight there, a chaperoning teacher, Mr. Johnson, tells the students about the Flower of Immortality When the students arrive in the Amazon they unpack their stuff then go exploring Emily finds the flower whilst exploring and Chris finds out that she has it Mr. Johnson overhears them arguing about the flower but he doesn’t mention anything to anyone That night, Chris takes Emily out on a romantic walk and they fall asleep under the stars In the morning, Emily wakes up alone outdoors and goes back to her room She finds out the flower has been stolen and tells Chris. They both figure out Mr. Johnson took it Emily and Chris rescue Drafogus and they find out about Crabioid, the shape shifter. Emily, Chris and Drafogus go on the search for Crabioid When they meet there’s an epic battle between them Drafogus gives Emily the Safagus sword, the only thing that can kill shape shifters Whilst Drafogus distracts Crabioid, Emily stabs him in the back and he dies They retrieve the stone and destroy it before any more damage is done At the end, Emily and Chris get together

Audience Primary audience – boys aged between 13 and 24, boys aspire to be like Chris, escapism from real life, fights and a sense of mystery appeals to them Secondary audience – girls aged between 13 and 18, main hero is a girl, girls aspire to be like Emily
