3. Sunny was an animal rescue, who we later found had been abused. Despite an earlier leg injury, that could not be corrected with surgery, she was everything my son wanted in a dog—loyal, protective, and loving. Sunny left us last summer, and our days were darkened by her absence. A true sweetheart…..
5. Daisy, another animal rescue, adopted my daughter and her husband five years ago. Their lives (and mine) have never been the same. Daisy loves her toys—she has more than most 2-year olds. Daisy loves cheeseburgers and easily recognizes the “golden arches” and the word “cheeseburger.” Even as part lab, Daisy hates the water! Our “princess”
