The Boko-Haram attacks and the frustration of my sister led to this poem. Even a match protest could not move the guide at the time. We still remember the slogan Bring Back Our Girls.
1. My Chibok Sister
(To Prof. Goodluck Johnathan, former Nigerian President)
I saw her crying for her life
When he received a bullet
She was just 13, and was abducted
We lost our home and parents
Even a protest match couldn’t affect you
Today am pregnant
No more education, no parents
Only a life of misery and frustration
Yes! I move forward with the new guide
