To Whom It May Concern:
It is both a privilege and a pleasure to write this letter of recommendation for Mr. Brian Goldin. Mr. Goldin has
worked at George B. Armstrong School of International Studies since September of 2011, when he began as a 7th
grade Science teacher. He has been a superb addition to our staff, and we were fortunate enough to have him, both
in class and in after-school activities.
Mr. Goldin is an excellent teacher; he has thorough knowledge of Math and Science Programs in that he instructs
applications and exhibits excellent classroom management skills. He is able to work with students at all levels. Not
only does Mr. Goldin have a strong grasp of academic knowledge, but he also possesses a natural ability to connect
with his students. I hear from my teachers that Mr. Goldin goes above and beyond his expectations and job
requirements to connect with his students. He even got involved with extracurricular activities by starting his own
Math Club and NWEA refresher to further support his students. Mr. Goldin ability to reach beyond classroom
walls to connect with his students and his co-workers speak highly of his character. Mr. Goldin truly enjoys the
children along with his co-workers, and his enthusiasm is quite refreshing. His students sense his sincerity, genuine
interest, and his passion for math and science.
I am truly appreciative of Mr. Goldin assistance and support. Mr. Goldin has been a tremendous help for our
students, as well as making it possible for us to reach twice the students with individual and small group help. I am
extremely impressed with his work ethic and collegiality. He consistently participates in meetings, parent
conferences, and student conferences with the utmost professionalism.
I believe Mr. Goldin’s knowledge and professionalism make him an enthusiastic teacher. His character and integrity
make him very special. Mr. Goldin can be an asset to any organization.
Respectfully submitted,
Mr. O. L. Dunson, Principal
