Mount Papandayan is a 2,665 meter stratovolcano located in West Java, Indonesia known as a beginner mountain for hikers. Though considered easy, the climb frequently exceeds hikers' expectations through its beautiful scenery of edelweiss meadows, dead forests, and steaming sulfur crater.
