Albert Jun, Sabrina Meng and Kris Ho will join Niklas Amundsson in Hong Kong as part of Asia expansion.
Monument Group, a placement agent headquartered in Boston, has made three new hires at its Hong Kong
office as part of its Asia expansion.
Albert Jun, director, Sabrina Meng, senior associate, and Kris Ho, operations manager, will join managing
director Niklas Amundsson in the new Hong Kong office in Two Exchange Square.
Jun will be responsible for marketing to Korean and other Asian investors. Prior to Monument, he was vice-
president and team leader of the fund placement division at NH Investment & Securities, formerly Woori
Investment & Securities. He had also worked at Korea Credit Guarantee Fund, Lazard, Doha 2006 Asian
Games and Oracle, according to his LinkedIn profile. He earned his MBA from INSEAD.
Meng, who joins Monument’s analytics team, comes from Emerald Hill Capital Partners where she served
as vice-president. She was previously associate consultant at Bain & Company and earned her Bachelor of
Business and Administration at HKUST Business School, according to LinkedIn.
Ho will be in charge of client service and office management at Monument. She was previously at MVision in
a similar role and earned her MBA from Royal Holloway, University of London, according to LinkedIn.
“The Asian investor market is growing at a healthy pace and many investors are becoming more global in
their investment considerations, so we need local and deep relationships to capitalise on both of these
opportunities,” Amundsson said.
Founded in 1994, Monument also has offices in London and Tokyo. It helped clients raise 72 funds with 41
repeat clients, totalling more than $81 billion of equity, the firm said.
