Modern Day Cinderella

Once upon at time there was a modern day Cinderella who lived in Sterling, Virginia. Cinderella
was having the best time of her life, enjoying everyday with her mother, Father, and of course
their dog. She new that life couldn't stay this perfect forever.
Her father was apart of the United Sates Supreme Court. Cinderella and her parents were
always traveling to various places for her father's meetings in the summer. They always traveled
in fancy limos. Her father always rode toward the front row with his co-workers, while Cinderella
and her mother rode towards the back row's minding their own business. Normally this was the
routine, but one day a big F150 came racing around the corner while the limo was crossing a four-
way stop-light. The truck made a sharp right turn and smashed into the front of the limo on the
side where Cinderella's father was sitting. The truck hit the limo so hard that that the back of the
limo spun around the other way towards the left side of the stop-light.
Instantly Cinderella's father died. Leaving his daughter and wife behind. Cinderella's mother
was too lonely without her husband. Luckily, she was very close friends with the current president
of the United States. Cinderella's mother and and President Clooney went on their first date. They
instantly fell in love. Right away President Clooney married Cinderella's mother and Cinderella and
her mother moved into the White House.

The president had four children. Teddy, who was 9 years old, Christopher who was 12 years
old, and Sullivan who was 23 years old. But, there was also one girl. Her name was Gabrielle. She
was 10 years old. She hated any girl who dated her brother Sullivan. He was her favorite and she
would never let any girl get in the way of her and her brother.

Cinderella couldn't get over the fact that someone has replaced her father. She thought her
mom would be so happy with President Clooney that she would just ignore Cinderella completely.
And what do you know, this is exactly what happened!

Cinderella's mother was always out and about with her busy husband. So her step brothers and
step sister took advantage of this. Except for 23 year old Sullivan. He was too busy getting ready
for the White House's 50th annual ball this upcoming Friday. He was supposed to decide who his
life long true love was going to be. This would take place at the ball. Cinderella was dieing to go to
this ball, but her step brothers and step sister demanded her not to.

Cinderella's step brothers and step sister were always making her do chores and clean their
room. They even made her be their personal servant. And of course, Cinderella couldn't do
anything about this because both of her parents were always out of town. The kids thought they
could boss anybody around because their father was the president.

Cinderella new she couldn't go to the ball this upcoming Friday because her step siblings said
she had to stay home that night.

Cinderella had to go though. She really wanted to meet the president's son Sullivan. She may
have had a chance with him if she goes to this ball. But, Cinderella didn't know how she would get
a dress for the ball or even get there.

While Cinderella was tiding up in her parents room on the night of the ball, she noticed a big
collection of magic lamps. she was trying to dust off one of the spots on the lamp, when suddenly
a Jeanie appears magically in front of her!

"Hello my name is Carlos. You have three wishes my dear. Remember to choose them wisely."
The Jeanie said in a very low voice.
"Are you serious?!" Cinderella asked in a surprised voice.

  "Yes go for it."

Cinderella was as surprised as when a person wins the lottery.

"My first wish is to go to the 50th annual White House ball. My second wish is to go in a limo
with my own personal driver. My third wish is to be dressed in a sparkling gown full of full of
crystals and my hair perfect for the ball." Cinderella finally thought of her wishes.

"No problem. Just be back Mid-night or else everything will disappear. You will be back to your
normal self again. I have to go now, but your wishes have been granted.

Cinderella was quite happy because Sullivan didn't know who she was because he was never
around. This meant that Cinderella didn't have to worry about anything being awkward.

As Cinderella finally arrived she saw Sullivan giving every girl a chance to come and dance with
him. And then finally it was Cinderella's turn at 11:50pm. 'Oh no' Cinderella thought. She was
going to run out of time. Cinderella and Sullivan where having the best time of their life. But,
Cinderella was so distracted by the masks they had to wear that she couldn't enjoy her time with
Sullivan as much.

The clock struck 11:59. Cinderella raced out of the ball room doors as fast as possible.
Cinderella didn't even say good bye to Sullivan. Sullivan was startled.

As Cinderella raced out of the door, her white glittery slipper completely fell off of her foot.
Cinderella only had one minute to spare so she didn't have time to run back and get her slipper.

Sullivan instantly picked up the slipper. He knew he was going to find that mystery girl he had
been dancing with.

Cinderella got home just in time before her step brothers and step sister got home from the
movies. 'Thank Goodness' Cinderella thought.

The next morning Cinderella got an announcement that any girl who was wearing a white
slipper at the ball was supposed to meet him in the White House Garden by noon.

Sullivan was waiting at noon with Cinderella's slipper in his hand.

"Please line up laddies. I'm going to see if this slipper fits your foot." Sullivan insisted.

Three girls showed up, counting Cinderella. Cinderella was last in line. Sullivan tried the slipper
on the first two girls feet.

"Too big. Mmmmh, to small." Sullivan said. Cinderella was up next.

"Ahhhh, just right!" Sullivan said in an over joyed voice. Cinderella and Sullivan grabbed each
others hands and instantly remembered how perfect they were together. Cinderella and Sullivan
fell in love after two weeks. They lived happily ever after.
