This document introduces the Mitti Di model of farming tourism and reimagining holidays. It aims to connect urban travelers and rural farmers by having travelers stay in village homes, generating income for farmers. This addresses issues of financial stress, isolation, and suicide rates among farmers. Profits from the Mitti Di tours would be used for loan repayments, infrastructure like rainwater harvesting and solar lights, and community support like handicraft programs and agriculture experts. The model provides rejuvenation and contribution for travelers while bringing money and esteem to farmers, connecting two ends of the spectrum.
