You have been accepted into AIESEC and there is a 3 step process to decide on opportunities for personal development. Step 1 involves a self-assessment and goal setting using an online tool to identify strengths and areas for growth. Step 2 is to participate in local committee activities and look for challenges outside your comfort zone such as conferences, international roles, or exchanges. Step 3 is to track and reflect on progress by reassessing goals with teammates and mentors to determine what has been developed and what further growth is needed. Ultimately, the opportunities chosen are up to the individual to take risks and step outside their comfort zone to decide what kind of change agent they will be.
H4TF refers to the "forgotten" stage in AIESEC where members are considering their next steps after completing their current role. It is a time for reflection, skills building, and connecting with other members.
The H4TF stage is important for helping members manage options and focus on self-awareness, growth, interests, and development needs. It also allows the organization to capture member perspectives and knowledge.
Members in H4TF have completed an exchange or leadership role but have not been elected to a new position. They are taking a break from active work but are not finished with their AIESEC experience. H4TF is distinct from alumni status which requires completing additional stages.
