This document provides a webquest for students to learn about Saint Patrick's Day. It outlines tasks for students to watch a video about the history of Saint Patrick's Day and answer questions. It then asks students to create a PowerPoint presentation with information about Saint Patrick and the celebrations of Saint Patrick's Day. Finally, it tasks students with writing an informal letter as Irish students explaining the celebrations of Saint Patrick's Day to Spanish students. Every March 17 th , millions of Irish and non-Irish people celebrate Saint Patrick’s Day. Do you know what is a Leprechaun? Or a shamrock? Or a pot of gold? When you have finished of doing this Webquest, you will know them as if you were Irish!

5. TASK SECOND PART: Make a Power Point presentation about what Saint Patrick’s Day is, the history of Saint Patrick, the festivals, parades and events, the typical Irish food, Saint Patrick’s songs…

6. TASK FINAL TASK: Write an informal letter. You are Irish students and you are going to explain to Spanish students what Saint Patrick’s Day is and how you celebrate Saint Patrick in your high school and city.

7. PROCESS: Groups of three students. 2 or 3 sessions. One of the three students is the coordinator of the Power Point Presentation.
