Memory Techniques!
By: Catherine Galloway
• Rote Memory: Studying for the test the night before.
• Acronym: P.E.M.D.A.S- an acronym for order of operations in math.
• Story: Memorizing the grocery list: Bob went to the Chicken house to
pick up some eggs and on the way back he tripped on an avocado
that looked like a lasagna noodle.
• Color: Drawing my math lesson with color pencils instead of regular
pencils
• Rap: The song for learning the fruits of the spirit.
• Movement: I helped use movement to help me memorize the dates
on my history test.
If I had to choose one of them to use I would
choose Color!
I think that this is a great way to get my brain to
pay attention to what I’m studying!
