Dear Melissa~
If you had a chance to view my website, you know that I am extremely serious
about my art & photography. All the work samples and references are there to
give you a firm idea of what I do, and how I go about it. I sincerely want to
tell you how impressed I am with you; you have a glow about you that radiates
remarkable beauty and charm. Your face is exquisite, and your physique nothing
less than world-class, and I would be honored to have the opportunity to use
you as a subject for the kind of painting and photography you saw on
modartist.com. I don't make this request lightly. I have precious little time
these days to do this kind of work. I will only approach a person who is
literally perfect for the type of imagery and subject matter I'm interested in.
You fit the bill. I also think it would be an absolute shame if you were not
documented at this stage of of your life. I have photographed literally a
thousand women athletes in the last thirty years, and a minute fraction of them
have the qualities you possess. You're a fine artist's dream, and I would have
to be insane not to want to capture you in all your glorious grace, strength,
and intense beauty. Besides modartist.com, there are several photo and art
albums available to see on Facebook. My page is facebook.com/MODARTIST (Eric
Scott Bloom). There are also many testimonials you might find comforting. I'm
well aware of the fly-by-night photographers out there in the world, who frankly
make what I do all-the-more difficult. But I am the real deal, and I know when I
meet someone who would help me to create magical images. I am not trying to sell
you anything. I honestly think we could both benefit from creating great images,
if for nothing more than you being able to have them forever, and share them
with your family and friends. And with your permission, I would use them to
further promote my talents and abilities. I also think you could use the work to
promote yourself, in whatever field of endeavor you choose to follow. If it
worked to your liking, we could even shoot at semi-regular intervals, which I
have done with only a very select few people. As for how we would approach the
first session, I would work it in a way that made you feel the most comfortable.
If you wanted to shoot the work at your and/or your family's residence,
accompanied, that's fine. If you want to bring a friend or family member to my
studio, that will work for me also. Anywhere or anyhow it suits you, Melissa.
I knew from the second I saw you, that you were an extraordinary young woman.
And when we spoke, that just confirmed what I had already sensed; that you are a
smart, beautiful, and warm & genuine person. And it is all these qualities that
I know I can capture on film, in a most unique and compelling way, with all the
tastefulness and respect you deserve. I'd be grateful if you would give the idea
serious consideration.
You can write me at modartist@comcast.net
or speak with me at 508 981-7563 on cell, if you or your family have any
specific questions about my proposal.
I truly appreciate your consideration, Melissa
~Most sincerely~
Eric
