The January UTA for the 194th Wing focused on recognizing Airmen who have deployed recently. On the first night, a Warrior Dinner was held by Chiefs and First Sergeants to express appreciation to those who have deployed. The weekend culminated in a Hometown Heroes Ceremony where around 200 Airmen were recognized for their service since 2009. Notably, CMSgt Gessell was awarded the Bronze Star for his service in Afghanistan in 2012.
