Allowable Expenses
 Pre-hospitalization expenses incurred for a period of 30
days prior to the date of hospitalization
 Post hospitalization expenses for a period of 60 days up
to 7% of the actual hospitalization expenses (excluding
room rent and hospital registration charges), subject to a
maximum of Rs. 5,000/-
Automatic Restoration
 In the event of sum insured being exhausted within the
policy period, there is an automatic restoration of 200%
of Sum insured.
 However, the restored SI cannot be used for any
treatment pertaining to the claims made before the
restoration.

Day Care Treatment.
Minimum of 24 hours Hospitalization is not necessary
for 101 specified procedures.
The standard exclusions and waiting period are

If the policy is purchased for two years,
Premium is calculated according to age slab for two years
and discount of 5% is allowed.
Co-Pay
10% Co-pay on all admissible claims for fresh proposals
above 60 years.

For persons with adverse medical history and

Acceptance subject to Medical Officers’ Opinion.

Declined Risks
Proposals from persons who have suffered or are suffering
from Heart Disease, Cancer, Renal Problems, Stroke and
BMI above 35 are not acceptable.

Add on Covers.
The following Optional benefits can be availed on payment
of Additional Premium
Hospital Cash :
 Cash benefit of Rs. 1000/- for each and every completed day
of Hospitalisation subject to a maximum of 7 days per
occurrence and
14 days per policy period.
 Date of admission and date of discharge will not be taken
into account for the benefit.

Patient Care
Applicable for persons aged above 60 Years
The cost incurred for engaging one attendant at residence
after discharge from the hospital of the Insured Person
following a covered occurrence under the policy up to Rs.
400 per day for a maximum of 5 days per occurrence
subject to maximum of 14 days per policy period.
Benefit not payable for the first day
Provided engagement of such an attendant is recommended
by the attending physician and agreed to by the Company,
in writing
Premium –Rs.580+ Service tax per person

 Any disease contracted by the insured person during the
first 30 days from the commencement date of the policy
