Final size
About 21.5” (55 cm.) tall -from base of feet
to top of ear- using worsted weight yarn
(medium/4) and a 4.0 mm. crochet hook.
Supplies
These supplies are to make Maurizio the
Big Fox, to see Supplies for Fabrizio the Big
Raccoon go to section “MODIFICATIONS
TO MAKE A RACCOON” on page 11.
• Worsted weight yarn in colors:
o Black - 170 yards/155 meters. I used
Red Heart Super Saver in color Black.
o Light Orange - 300 yards/274 meters.
I used Red Heart Super Saver in color
Pumpkin.
o White - 190 yards/173 meters. I used Red
Heart Super Saver in color White.
o Contrasting color for scarf - 100 yards/
91 meters. I used an Olive Green yarn.
• 4.00 mm. crochet hook
• Two (22 mm.) safety eyes
• Stitch markers, yarn needle and scissors
• Stuffing material of your choice
Notes
• Crochet very tight so toy keep its shape
and stuffing won’t show through stitches.
• Since this toy is very big, you need to stuff
the head, body and legs very firmly. Take
your time to stuff these parts and shape
them with your hands until you have the
desired shape. Push the stuffing to every
corner of head, body and legs until it is firm.

  • 2. Crochet level Skills you need • Basic - Intermediate crochet and amigurumi skills. • Basic sewing and embroidery skills (to join parts and embroider nose). Crochet terms & abbreviations The pattern is worked using US Crochet Terms. Conversions to UK terms are shown below in parentheses: • ch – chain (UK=chain) • mr – magic ring (UK=magic ring) • sc – single crochet (UK=double crochet) • dc – double crochet (UK= treble crochet) • sl – slip stitch (UK= slip stitch) • inc(sc) – increase in single crochet (UK=increase in double crochet) • dec(sc) – decrease in single crochet (UK=decrease in double crochet) • fo – fasten off (UK=fasten off) This pattern is for personal use only. PLEASE DO NOT COPY, SHARE, TRANSLATE OR DISTRIBUTE PATTERN. Pattern made by Michelle Alvarez. Of course you can sell the toys you make! Just give credit for the crochet pattern to Michelle Alvarez from Bunnies & Yarn. Final size About 21.5” (55 cm.) tall -from base of feet to top of ear- using worsted weight yarn (medium/4) and a 4.0 mm. crochet hook. Supplies These supplies are to make Maurizio the Big Fox, to see Supplies for Fabrizio the Big Raccoon go to section “MODIFICATIONS TO MAKE A RACCOON” on page 11. • Worsted weight yarn in colors: o Black - 170 yards/155 meters. I used Red Heart Super Saver in color Black. o Light Orange - 300 yards/274 meters. I used Red Heart Super Saver in color Pumpkin. o White - 190 yards/173 meters. I used Red Heart Super Saver in color White. o Contrasting color for scarf - 100 yards/ 91 meters. I used an Olive Green yarn. • 4.00 mm. crochet hook • Two (22 mm.) safety eyes • Stitch markers, yarn needle and scissors • Stuffing material of your choice Notes • Crochet very tight so toy keep its shape and stuffing won’t show through stitches. • Since this toy is very big, you need to stuff the head, body and legs very firmly. Take your time to stuff these parts and shape them with your hands until you have the desired shape. Push the stuffing to every corner of head, body and legs until it is firm. 1 facebook.com/BunniesandYarn Any questions, doubts or comments regarding the pattern?
