• KPFK Radio, Los Angeles
March 1994 – Present
Current Position - Music Director – Responsible for all on-air music programmers, coordination and
negotiation of promotional material for daily programming, including working with concert promoters,
including Live Nation, AEG Live, Nederlander Concerts, LA Phil, and numerous record labels and DVD
distributors. Conceive, organize and manage all details of special events, such as concerts, benefits and
award shows, including booking artists, arranging venues, fundraising features and internal and external
promotion through advertising, social media and sponsors. Sample event brochures available for review.
Previous positions at KPFK include On-air Broadcast Producer for special events and interviews; On-air Host
of the daily global music program Global Village, weekly jazz show, Straight No Chaser, Music
segue/soundtrack production engineer; producer and on-air host for special musical and live guest
interviews including Joni Mitchell, Jackson Browne, Ziggy Marley, John Densmore, Terrence Howard and
Tom Morello (and many other diverse voices in music).

Fill-in board operations/engineer part-time , evenings and weekends; responsible for schedule logs;
implementing and maintaining scheduled shows and formats.

On-air traffic reporter responsible for preparing and reading traffic reports for a variety of major Los
Angeles radio stations including KRTH (K-EARTH), KJLH, KFWB and KABC.

Responsible for morning station start-up and engineering of programmed events including All Things
Considered and Morning Edition. On-air host for weekly jazz music program.
