1. Magazine experiments

2. What I was doing was adding effect to the color of the magazine I was experimenting with changing the contrast of the colors, I
was wanting to see what would make the product more eye catching towards the audience. I was checking to see the level of the
brightness of the colors so I could see if it was too bright or too dark in some areas of the image as I wanted to get this right as it
looks more professional, furthermore the reason to why I found this important to get this right was because I wanted the
audience to be interested in the product and to make the overall image look colorful and interactive.

3. What I did here was I use the text tool to write the writing on the magazine and I used the color pallet to choose different colors
but to maintain a color scheme of red and white for the border with the title to get that effect I used the gradient tool to make a
shadow like effect and then I used the eraser tool to tidy it up a bit. To get them effects on the title I used the blending options
and changed the texture of the text and changed the size of the font to make it stand out more for the audience. Furthermore I
put the white writing at the bottom of the magazine and the red writing high because the red will be clear and easy to read plus
the golfer is wearing red, the white however is at the bottom of the screen as this is the color of the golf ball and since the
picture is taken on the green I thought this would stand out more to interest the audience. Also to make the magazine more eye
catching for the audience I change the color levels and added some effects from the blending option to make it stand out more, I
made the whole magazine a bit darker as there was some bits of white contrasting with the picture so I got rid of this through the
use of the half colored circle in the bottom right of the screen on Photoshop to change the levels and colors of the magazine this
has turned out very well as it has made the image look more appealing and more eye catching.

4. In this poster the difference between the first one and this one is the the taglines I've made it stand out more for the audience
when they are looking at this poster as I've made it stand out more. To do this I made the font look more appealing for the
audience as I’ve added a drop shadow behind the text this makes it stand out more, I have then changed the size of the font very
slightly so it’s easier to see and read this makes the audience more interested in the product. This is helpful as it makes the entire
magazine look more professional and more creative this will stand out more for the audience.

5. What I've tried to do here is add a gradient to the text through the blending options I was wanting to see if it worked well with
the product and made it more eye catching for the audience but I had to make sure that they can still clearly see it. I think it’s a
bit harder to read so I will be keeping it plain white I believe that it does make it look more appealing and eye catching and it
does work with the product as it follows my color scheme of red and white, what I might do when it comes to creating the final
one I might try and make it bigger if I use a gradient on the text or if it’s like something like this product I might just keep it bold
as it stands out more and is more formal.

6. Beep Box
I made this sound through beep box I used the four default instruments given to me as this was my first time using this software I
made this sound as an experiment to see the sounds that I can make with this. When making it I wanted there to be a lot
happening in the sound so it’s more interesting for the audience when listening to the product. To do this I made sure that every
second more than two instruments where being played and I got this sound but to change it up a bit I used different sounds to
do so. Furthermore for example when the drums were used I sometimes sued a higher pitched sound to change the sound up
and make it more interesting to listen to this will grab the audience's attention to the product as it will be eye catching.

7. When making this background what I did was create a document and set the size to 600- 80 this gave me a long strip to be bale
to create the background. To create it I used the shape tool to make a box I then colored it to make the floor then for the trees
and the roots I used the paintbrush and used the color pallet to change the color. When I completed this part I then made a new
document and set the size as 120-80 pixels res 70 when I did this I created a timeline and firstly I created two frames the first one
I put the first bit of the background and then for the second frame I put the end of the background there, when I did this I then
used the tween tool this allowed me to create continues frames as I got to create as many as I wanted when I did this I choose to
have 64 frames as any less it would go too quick. I added the character and the ball in to make it more interesting for the
audience when they are watching the product as it make sit more interesting and the audience can interact with the product
more, just by doing this I have made the product more eye catching towards the audience. Furthermore I have sued a similar
color scheme with the character and the background and to show the audience that the ball is dangerous I made it red as this
symbolizes danger/ blood.

8. When I was making this I was using it more as an experiment to see what I could do when animating in photoshop as I tried to do
the basics first by making the box just move around and I tried to get it to interact with the surrounding for example when it hits
the side of the walls I try and make it so it looks like it’s bouncing of something instead of just moving randomly. To create the
box what id di was use the shape tool and just select the square tool I then changed the color of the box to blue. Ithought if I
could get the basics done first before the advance things I would be able to make a better product for the audience as the final
piece will look appealing towards the audience.

9. Instead of using the box I wanted to try and use a different shape so I chose a circle I got this from the left hand side by the tools
from the shape tool and then changed the fill color from white to blue, the main difference form this one and the box one I tried
to make an object that would effect the course of the ball so it actually looks like it’s bouncing/ hitting something then just hitting
the wall as this doesn’t look as good when the ball isn’t bouncing off anything, what I will be doing next time is trying to get the
trampoline to move as well with the springs so it actually looks like it’s almost shooting it into the wall then just hitting it. This
was important for me to try before I do the final product as it gives me a a chance to try and experiment with it and see the
effects of it.

10. To create this character what I did was only use the pencil tool to change the shade of the colors I just used the color pallet and
selected a darker shade of the color to make it have better detail and look more professional, I wanted to get this right as I know I
will be using a character like this so what I will take from this is the difference in the shade to give it more detail if I was to do it
again I would try and get another two frames in with the walking as I believe I could have done this better as right now it almost
looks robotic. If I want the audience to interact with my product I got to add a little bit more detail in the character and the
movement that the character does, the color scheme that I used has worked very well as it suits the background that I used it for
when doing the experiments.

11. When I was using garage band I was wanting to experiment with it as it was my first time using it, my intentions with it when
experimenting with it was to make a short sound that I could potentially use for the main sound of the game. I found it’s very
easy to use as for me t create this sound what I did for the first layer was the panino and also the second one was. To create the
sound u have to select the sound that you wanted to use then you could change the pitch and add different things such as echo's
and more I didn’t use any of these this time as I was wanting to try and keep it as basic as I could. Finally for the last layer I used
drums to give it more of a sound and less scruffy as I wanted to try and create a professional like sound by using different
instruments and sounds.
