This marketing research study was conducted by Drexel University students for Mad Greeks restaurant to determine college students' beer preferences and purchasing behaviors. A survey was administered to 65 Drexel students asking about their beer consumption frequency and favorite brands. It also asked about the importance of factors like taste, price and promotions. The top favorite beers were found to be Yuengling, Blue Moon, Victory, Heineken and Dogfish Head. Price sensitive students preferred quantity, light beers and domestics. Taste and quality were highest rated, indicating students value quality-price ratios. Promotions were better received by high spenders and those who hadn't recently purchased beer.
