It describes brainstorming, paper prototyping, testing digital prototypes with users, analyzing usage data, and running a contest to attract more users. Early tests found issues with unclear purpose, buttons, and colors that were addressed. Later tests of the digital prototype uncovered problems with login, liking locations, and layout that were also solved. Tracking usage data indicated the explore functionality still needed clarification. A contest helped gain more feedback and users, but engagement was lower than expected.
