This paper examines the interplay between load balancing and auto scaling in cloud computing environments, emphasizing the importance of selecting appropriate load balancers for efficient resource management. Through simulations of cloud systems with different load balancing algorithms, the study reveals that active monitoring load balancers can significantly enhance performance and resource usage compared to round robin load balancers. The findings suggest that load balancing strategies tailored to current workloads improve cloud resource efficiency and reduce costs for subscribers.
