Lluís Llach was a famous Catalan singer and composer who went into exile for political reasons during Franco's dictatorship. He protested against Franco through songs sung in Catalan and writing that criticized Franco's politics, as Llach hated the Franco regime. He was the 16th member of the group "Setze Jutges" and announced his retirement from performing in March 2007 after his last show on February 17, 2006.
