Andiamo a Lisbon!
Lisbon
Lisbon is a dazzling city set around seven hills. A truly
magnificent city of international standing and great historical
significance. It’s wealth and prosperity is reflected in the
spectacular architecture, ornate decor and street design, great
part of which was tragically destroyed in the great earthquake
of 1755, only to be rebuilt in a magnificient symmetrical style,
intertwining ancient, modern and traditional contrasts.
Everywhere are fine monuments that bring to mind the great
Age of Discoveries, and picturesque houses whose facades are
decked with ornate ceramic tiles, doors open with locals
(alfacinhas) chattering constantly from windows and balconies,
and old quarters where cafes and markets make street life
busy and colourful.
With the port and marinas situated nearby, water sports and
nature belong to the possibilities too.
