Sumit Saini was recommended for a new position by his former manager Elena Morten. Morten oversaw Saini for about a year where he served as a Lead Parking Enforcement Officer, overseeing parking enforcement duties and student workers. This letter is my personal recommendation for Sumit Saini. I was Sumit’s manager for about 1
year. I was very impressed with his leadership skills and his ability to perform many different
responsibilities within our department with thoroughness and persistence.
Sumit was one of our Lead Parking Enforcement Officers, primarily responsible for overseeing
parking enforcement duties, completing metrics, and overseeing our other student workers. In addition to
his normal job responsibilities, Sumit assumed a role in assisting his direct supervisor, as well as myself,
with time-consuming projects that often come up with little notice for us to complete. He was also on-
hand to assist with large weekend events and other duties that fell outside of his normal job duties.
Sumit was a dedicated employee that enjoyed his time spent at work, which made him a pleasure
to work with. He provided excellent customer service, even in difficult situations with challenging
customers and was thorough in documentation of any incidents that needed a supervisor’s attention.
I recommend Sumit for a position within your department. He is a hard worker and is extremely
dedicated to working on campus in the best capacity he can, and I believe he would be a valuable asset to
your department as well.
