the Tees Valley, operating within the
North-East of England.
• In spite of the pandemic, XYZ Bakery has
in fact flourished as its services were
deemed ‘essential’ during the crisis and
have since expanded since lockdown
lifted in 2021
• Note: These facts cannot change within
your ‘Terms of Reference’, though you
may decide to give more specific details
within your report/design considerations

10. • ‘Prior to the pandemic, XYZ Bakery has
used TBHRG’s services before to help
enhance the performance management
strategies of their managers, but now
they want to enhance their PM strategies
across all departments.
• The pandemic forced the bakery to
integrate more digital systems within the
processes.
• The senior partners want to expand their
performance management systems to
incorporate e-learning tools across the
organisation.

12. • As a group (of 3-to-4) you must
collaboratively:
1. Identify an area where XYZ employees
would benefit from performance
management training
2. Go through the first six stages of the
B&C model to design a digital learning
and training intervention.
3. Create and upload this intervention to
the Blackboard Ultra, no later than
Monday 13th of November at 16:00.
4. Present this intervention at the
practical session.

than 6 minutes to engage with (and
demonstrate to the group) from start to
finish.
• You will be asked to discuss, critique
and reflect upon your experiences: in
designing and creating the intervention
as an individual but also as part of a
team .
• You will also be asked to give positive
feedback on the interventions created by
other groups during the practical
workshops.
