One of the most accomplished transactional lawyers
in the United States, Steven Guynn has served as a
partner at multiple leading international law firms,
providing representation in a range of financial and
business negotiations.
Steven Guynn received his juris doctor, which
requires three years of full-time study, from the
University of Virginia.

In the overwhelming majority of cases, first-year law
students follow the same core curriculum, which introduces
them to the central concepts of civil procedure in addition to
contract, property, and tort law.
During the final two years of law school, students generally
have few required courses, thus allowing them to focus on
electives in areas of their practice interests.
In the second year, most students begin interviewing for
externship opportunities and other jobs.
Third-year students have the most flexibility with their
schedule, which can make the year rather relaxed; at the
same time, they must begin planning for bar exams.
