The plane ride was uncomfortable and the food was poor. Customs officials mistook the narrator's grandfather's ashes for drugs and arrested them. They had to appear before a judge, who turned out to be a friend of the grandfather's, and the charges were dropped. After gaining their freedom, the narrator helped an injured boy but then had their bags stolen. They met a kind man who helped them with directions. Later, the narrator slowly helped an older woman named Doris hike up a mountain, reaching the top and fulfilling their grandfather's wishes.

2. the plane
The plane ride was not the most fun or entertaining
part of the trip. The food and the ride rough. And
the worst was yet to come. Let just say they don’t
like it when you bring some ones remains into a new
country.

3. The ashes
When I was going thought customs the people there
thought that my grand fathers ashes where drugs.
So I was put in jail for smuggling drugs in to a
country. The herring was in a phew days. And I was
not ready.

4. The court
The scariest thing in my life was going in front of the
judge and all those people . I gave the imprison that I
was a no good scum form America. Iwas about to cry
until the I found out that I was good I was not going
to stay in jail. It turns out that the judge was my
granddads friend. His name was Elijah.

5. freedom
It was go to be free , and not have to stay in a cell any
longer. As soon as I saw the sun a burst of joy I felt I
was free. The judge came out and told me that he
was sorry for the mistake I wanted to say you should
be but I was just happy to be free.

6. The trap
Just as I was starting to enjoy my freedom I saw a
little boy crying on the street he had a big cut on his
leg. I went over and I told him I was going to help I
went in to my bag and got my first aid kit and
tended to his wound. After that I turned around
and a boy was running of with my bag. I tried to
catch him but when I looked another boy ran of
with my other bag and the boy I was helping was
gone was gone and to make maters worst there
was a cut in my foot.

7. The man
Well now I had nothing and the thing that got me
upset me the most was that I lost the cane and the
boy I helped him, and he helped those boys . Now I
was all alone with a cut that was bleeding through
my torn sandals. I went to a local store to ask for
directions when I met this man who’s name I cant
remember he held out his hand, at first I thought it
was gay but others were doing it so I went along .

8. Up the mountain
Going up the mountain would be a little more fun if I
was not stuck with Doris, but I would not like it if I
was her, and I just left her there to walk up all by her
self. She keep telling me it was ok for me to run up
with the others but I stayed with her I don’t know
but I did.

9. The top
I made it to top I'm there I have four filed my
granddads wishes it was good to make it to the top.
