Small Business Owners: Eight Impactful Reasons To Leverage Cloud TechnologyAbacus Technologies
Because they often have limited resources, small businesses have to be intentional about the tools they use. They don't have the luxury of testing out and paying for expensive software and systems they ultimately may not keep, so it's important that their chosen solution are budget-friendly and effective from the start.
Following the recent mass migration to the cloud, organizations are embracing best practices for architecting and securing the cloud. However, it has not been an easy journey and many have made mistakes along the way. - Abacus Technologies

Looking back on 2020, we can honestly say it was a year like no other. We faced wildfires, hurricanes, a raucous election season and, of course, a pandemic that forced millions of people to work, socialize and attend school from home.
Digital Transformation remains a top priority for this year, with remote work, digital transaction, customer interactions, and business collaboration all requiring flexible, personalized solutions. Cloud is the essential orchestrator and backbone behind everything digital.
Why is Cloud Computing Important for Companies that Want to Deploy IoT Soluti...Abacus Technologies
In today's digital world, it seems like all applications or devices connect with the cloud to store or process data and perform various tasks on at least some level.
In a survey by Menlo Security of 200 IT managers, 40% of respondents said they are facing increasing threats from cloud applications and internet of things (IoT) attacks because of this trend.
There's a joke among non-techie individuals about not knowing what the cloud is nor what it does exactly. You may or may not have an exact idea of how the cloud works, and that's fine because the aim of this piece is on the job. Cloud engineers (CEs) know exactly how the cloud works, including all of its intricacies, from the beginning to end. This is because the role of the cloud engineer is to design how cloud infrastructures work and bring them to fruition.
IT professionals with expertise in app development security, cloud computing, and risk management will have the most job opportunities this year and beyond, according to a new analysis of jobs data.
As remote work continues to be a pillar of our new normal, organizations are realizing that the security environment has dramatically changed. Securing remote work isn’t solely the job of the IT team, however — it also requires trust. Senior leadership needs to be able to trust from the beginning that their teams have secured systems for remote work. Customers need to trust that their data is protected. Employees need to trust that there are systems in place to support them. - Abacus Technologies
The transition to the cloud is underway at most organizations. As more people rely on cloud infrastructure and applications, security teams have to rethink several aspects to security, from the structure of their security operations center to software-as-a-service control
The dynamic nature of hybrid cloud requires a corresponding willingness to regularly review and update your strategy and its execution. consider this practical advice on smart moves.
Tech is never perfect, and there will be times when tech teams will face challenges. However, by preparing for potential bugs and technocal issues, you can reduce the amount of time lost or damage done when one pops up.
Business leaders are spending close to a quarter of their budget on 5G security and will increase that spend in the next 12-18 months, according to a new report.
In a data-centric tech field that is shaped by merging trends and technologies like artificial intelligence, analytics, greater mobility, and the internet of things (IoT), "optimization" has become a marching order for hardware and software markers
However, some IT certifications are more popular than others. The reasons range from the cost to the pay rate associated with it to the difficulty of the program. Here are the top 5 most popular IT training courses.

HCL Notes und Domino Lizenzkostenreduzierung in der Welt von DLAUpanagenda
Webinar Recording: https://www.panagenda.com/webinars/hcl-notes-und-domino-lizenzkostenreduzierung-in-der-welt-von-dlau/
Removing Uninteresting Bytes in Software FuzzingAftab Hussain
Imagine a world where software fuzzing, the process of mutating bytes in test seeds to uncover hidden and erroneous program behaviors, becomes faster and more effective. A lot depends on the initial seeds, which can significantly dictate the trajectory of a fuzzing campaign, particularly in terms of how long it takes to uncover interesting behaviour in your code. We introduce DIAR, a technique designed to speedup fuzzing campaigns by pinpointing and eliminating those uninteresting bytes in the seeds. Picture this: instead of wasting valuable resources on meaningless mutations in large, bloated seeds, DIAR removes the unnecessary bytes, streamlining the entire process.
In this work, we equipped AFL, a popular fuzzer, with DIAR and examined two critical Linux libraries -- Libxml's xmllint, a tool for parsing xml documents, and Binutil's readelf, an essential debugging and security analysis command-line tool used to display detailed information about ELF (Executable and Linkable Format). Our preliminary results show that AFL+DIAR does not only discover new paths more quickly but also achieves higher coverage overall. This work thus showcases how starting with lean and optimized seeds can lead to faster, more comprehensive fuzzing campaigns -- and DIAR helps you find such seeds.
