1) The bobcat lives in dense vegetation with plenty of prey like rabbits, hares, birds, and rodents. It has one main den and several auxiliary dens in places like rock shelters, caves, hollow logs, and fallen trees.
2) Bobcats mate in late winter and gestation lasts 50-70 days, resulting in litters of 1-6 kittens. Kittens are weaned at around 2 months and begin hunting at 5 months.
