ABOUT US
John David Edison Interior Design Inc, incorporated in 1990, is a full service interior design
company located in Toronto, Canada. Since the firm’s formation, we have gained an
international reputation specializing in Luxury Hotels, Exclusive Residences and
Condominiums, Retirement Residences, and Golf and Country Clubs. We have long-
running associations with architectural firms both, in Toronto and internationally. This allows
us to design for the many and varied building practices worldwide.
Prior to starting his own firm, founder John David Edison was invited to join Rosalie Wise
Design – at the time, the Interior Design arm of Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts. From 1982
to 1990, John worked with RWD, becoming Senior Designer in 1984.
John specialized in Interior Design while enroller in the environmental Design Programme
at his alma mater, the Ontario College of Art, where he received the Governor General’s
academic gold medal for scholastic excellence. He is also an alumnus of the Faculty of
Architecture, University of Manitoba and Trinity College, University of Toronto.
