Also handles dealing with the new media environment, self promotion, technological tools, 'deadline games', work processes and structuring work. And much more (including additional resources worth finding). Basically self improvement for writers, written by an experienced freelance writer. No fluff, good stuff ^_^
This book is an open invitation to think and a book for thinkers...
It's my first serious piece of non fiction. The book is a compilation of 2 years worth of essays on a variety of subjects from physics to futurism to sociology. Like most of my other writings it doesn't take itself too seriously but earnestly tries to fill your head with 'aha' moments all the same.
I self published this work because life's too short to wait for a publisher's opinion at this point. And I know how that story ends...
So, if you are the kind of person who reads for a love of learning and looking at the same things in a new way, I wrote this book just for you.
I hope you enjoy it.

One of the many photography diaries I have created from my various travels and experiences in different parts of the world. I try to capture the spirit of the place in a way that emphasizes the beauty of the environment. The images are processed differently, and some are quite old. (some are better than others!). See the world as I saw it, a picture paints a thousand words as they say...

Jack Oughton et al. - The Speech Of The ChimeraJack Oughton
What is the speech of the chimera? Something more than a book. It is an art project that over time got caught on paper. A collection of images 'curated' by Jack Oughton, outsider poet and keen advocate of undiscovered art. It features images and decoration from a number of artists of wildly different styles and backgrounds, all recruited by Jack to illustrate the chimera's speech.
When Jack put out his advert, all manner of people responded. The work was completed by Jack sending fragments of his poetry to various artists and getting them to follow whatever artistic ideas the words inspired. The result was completely unpredictable, and the kind of project you can only get away with on print on demand! Though uncommercial from the start, all proceeds from the book are to be donated directly to Cancer Research UK.
Fans of new poetry, illustrative styles and the bleeding edge of contemporary art need to own this book for themselves . Sometimes funny, sometimes insane, It may not be to everyone's taste but the speech of the chimera is truly an authentic and fearless exploration of the human spirit.
