We believe a flawed premise. Typhoon disasters, which occur annually, should be enough to make any nation susceptible to typhoons adopt and implement policies that will lead to their typhoon disaster resilience. Fact: it usually takes multiple disasters before a stricken nation will adopt policies to move towards disaster resilient. Creating turning points for typhoon disaster resilience. Integration of scientific and technical solutions with political solutions for policies on preparedness, protection, early warning, emergency response, and recovery. Ingrid also hit Mexico at the same time, with the combined effects of the two storms leaving over 1 million people affected. Manuel later reformed over the Pacific and threatened to cause additional damage in northern Mexico. The document provides storm tracks and summaries of the impacts of the various storms.
Planet Earth’s atmospheric-hydrospheric-lithospheric interactions create HURRICANES. 2014 Atlantic Hurricane Season began With Hurricane Arthur 3 July 2014. Potential disaster agents (aka hazards) of a hurricane include: Wind Field [Cat 1 (55 Mph) to Cat 5+ (155 Mph Or Greater)]; Debris; Storm Surge/Floods; Heavy Precipitation/Floods; Landslides (Mudflows); Costal Erosion. As a result, there is a high potential for huge loss exposures in A HURRICANE: Entire communities; People, property, infra-structure, business enterprise, government centers, crops, wildlife, and natural resources.
