Online workshop introduction to ‘digital capabilities’:
• Tailored the introduction to the framework and tool from a student
perspective in collaboration with Sam Hopkins (Teaching Fellow FHMS)
• Builds on existing curricular opportunities
In the future:
• continue exploring student-led approaches and motivators
• ‘Free time’ vs ‘embedded in the curriculum’
The ‘EduInterns’ model –students
introducing ’digital capabilities’
• A group of 6 students doing their PTY within the Education Division at
University of Surrey
• We take every opportunity to engage students as partners or collaborators
in shaping L&T initiatives (trans)disciplinary
• Using a co-design approach and principles of equitable student-staff
partnerships
