Cloud storage is a model of networked enterprise storage where data is stored not
only in the user's computer, but in virtualized pools of storage which are generally
hosted by third parties, too. Hosting companies operate large data centers, and
people who require their data to be hosted buy or lease storage capacity from them.
The data center operators, in the background, virtualize the resources according to
the requirements of the customer and expose them as storage pools, which the
customers can themselves use to store files or data objects. Physically, the resource
may span across multiple servers. The safety of the files depends upon the hosting
websites.

You can share any of the files contained in your Google Drive with just a few clicks
and you can control access on a folder or file- per- file basis. When you create a file
you are marked as the „Owner‟ and can restrict access by using the following 3
privacy options.
1. Public - anyone can access the file, no sign-in required.
2. Link only – only users with direct link can access the file, no sign- in
needed.
3. Private – only people who have been explicitly granted access by you
can get to this file.

Doesn‟t matter if you‟re using somebody else‟s laptop or your mobile. If
you have access to a web browser you can access your files wherever
you want. I love to be able to access my file via my iPhone. There is no
app to download yet but the client website is optimized to be viewed on
small screens, which makes it really easy to navigate in your backups
and choose (or search) for files that you need now. Have a look at the

13. Restoring files from JustCloud is as straightforward as the
backup process. Just open up the client and click on “restore
files” and select the files that you want to restore. JustCloud gives
you the opportunity to backup multiple PCs at an additional cost.
That‟s why you have to first choose the machine you want to get
a restore of. Then you can go down to the file level and select
individual files and folders or do a full restore of your files.
The restore process is a crucial part in any backup routine.
That‟s why it is important that is works flawlessly. I tried to restore
a big folder with photos I have taken over the years and the
restore process was quite speedy. Obviously it is going to take
longer than just downloading any file from the Internet because
JustCloud needs to repackage the files from their servers.
