Skin.Graft.Designs was created by Jonny Cota and Cassidy Haley, who began designing clothing without formal training as circus performers. They produce handmade, one-of-a-kind couture pieces inspired by Victorian and tribal styles for the high-end market. Their most exciting pieces are elaborate gowns that can take over 40 hours to construct, with each telling a story. Jonny and Cassidy are amazed to see their business grow beyond what they imagined, with opportunities to showcase their work worldwide.

Skin.Graft.Designs was created by Jonny
Cota and Cassidy Haley. As circus perform-
ers, they separately began designing clothing
and costumes without any formal training-
before joining forces two years ago. Since
conception, Skin.Graft has been producing
one-of-a-kind custom pieces of Victorian
tribal punk couture for the high-end market.
Due to high demand a very small and
limited summer collection was produced
this year on top of the usual one-of-a-kind
pieces that brought the duo recognition.
Skin.Graft.Designs produce a range
of handmade couture items, the most
exciting of which are their gowns – created
for fashion shows, often being made as art
and not as pieces to be sold, yet many of
them are purchased afterwards. Skin.Graft
gowns can take up to 40 hours to construct
and detail. Every piece created has a story;
before sketches of any item are even started,
a storyline or character is created. With
tales of fierce tribal warrior queens and aged
Victorian misers, it’s clear that every piece
of clothing is filled with passion. Fusing dif-
ferent eras and styles together has been the
foundation of Skin.Graft, building upwards
in hopes of making something new and
exceptional.
As young adults, Jonny and Cassidy are
amazed to watch their business grow into
something bigger than both of them could
have imagined; the future of Skin.Graft.
Designs is truly exciting and unpredict-
able. With consistent offers and amazing
opportunities to showcase their work and
to collaborate with inspiring photographers,
filmographers, producers and artists, Skin.
Graft is well on its way to being recognized
worldwide. Their first collection launched on
July 7th
in Los Angeles, and with no sign of
slowing down creatively these boys continue
to build on the empire they’ve created from
humble roots and a vivid imagination. 1
