zebrafish as a model for post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), however, the results not only
proved that zebrafish show symptoms of PTSD, but in fact we observed modification in the neural
progenitor cells around the hippocampal area of the zebrafish brain. High concentrations of ROS
can be the reason behind the modification of the neural cells. Therefore, the importance of this
study is to investigate the molecular pathways of ROS in the zebrafish brain. We hypothesize that
using an antioxidant, N acetyl L cysteine (NAC) could reduce the concentrations of trauma induced

there are regulations or rules, anyone is known to think that they can do whatever they want.

Negotiation Between Death and Eternity in Emily Dickinson s Poems
Emily Dickinson lost her father on June 16, 1874 (Sewall 69). The sudden loss of her father
stunned her and she wrote in a letter that she was wondering where he is. Without any body, I
keep thinking. What kind can that be (Letter, 471). When Dickinson s mother passed away in
November of 1882, Dickinson also wrote in a letter about her wonder at her fate and she was
seeking what it means (Letter, 815). The wonder in both letters shows that Emily Dickinson is a
person who looks inward for the mystery of death. Many of her poems convey her preoccupation
with death, concern with immortality and doubts about fulfillment beyond the grave. I will
analyze I heard a Fly buzz when I died (591) and Because I could not stop for Death (479), both of
which deal with the death and eternity. These two poems reflect the conflicting attitudes of Emily
Dickinson towards afterlife.
In I heard a Fly buzz when I died (591), the narrator describes the last moments of her life and the
moment of her death. The poem begins with a startling statement that describes the moment of her
death, making readers know that she has already died. In the first stanza, it is so quiet that the
narrator can hear a fly, leading to a contrast between the stillness and the fly s buzz. And there is a
simile that the contrast is likened to the stillness in the air and heaves of storm. The simile here not
only emphasizes the silence in the room, but also leads to a further metaphor. The simile adds
meaning back onto the stillness in the room that the stillness connotes the process of death.
In the second stanza, the narrator s attention falls upon the mourners around her. She sees the
onlookers in terms of sight and sound. Their strained eyes and gathered breath imply that they
have waited for the last Onset (), which is the final moment of death, for a long time. And they are

watching the lives of his neighbors. Jeffries becomes increasing interested in the lives of his
neighbors as each day goes by. One rainy night, Jeffries sees one of his neighbors, Lars
Thorwald, leave and come back to his apartment a couple of times which raises his suspicion.
Following the night Jefferies also sees that Lars got a knife and a small saw. Jeffries also notices
that Lars s sickly wife is now missing too and suspects that Lars murdered his wife. At first, both
Jeffries girlfriend Lisa and his nurse Stella are skeptical of his theory but come around when they
both see more event unfold in front of them. Lisa comes up with a dangerous plan to break into
Lars s apartment to get key evidence to the murder. Lisa ends up getting caught by Lars s who gets
saved by the arrival of the police.

Introduction
Before the 1990s, economic integration in Latin America was overshadowed isolation mechanisms
placing barriers between neighboring countries in hopes of developing domestic growth. By the
turn of the last decade in the 20th century, more countries became increasingly interested in the
potential benefits of deeply integrating nations through cross border trading. The countries of the
Southern Cone of South America courageously took modern economic initiatives. Since then, the
region has created mix results of whether their choices have liberated the region of trade barriers
or created a fortress all on their own. In this paper I will be focusing on the customs union Mercosur
by detailing its creation, discussing the critical events which have contributed to the group s
stagnation, and assessing the group s current role in the global economy.
Background
In the 1980s, Argentina and Brazil placed their political differences aside and created a compact
trade agreement to further economic cooperation and stability for years to come. In 1985, the
Declaration of Iguaca opened up the dialogue between the two countries to pursue further

I chose to research Albert Bandura. Albert is a contemporary psychologist specializing in
development and educational psychology. A lot of his work revolves around the social learning
theory. He is one of the most widely cited psychologists of all time. He was born in Alberta,
Canada in a small town of Mundare. He was the youngest of six children, two of his siblings died

The Dream of the Rood is a work which inspires one to think, to contemplate, and to begin to
better understand one s own faith. The Rood tells us of its life, from being a tree to being the
instrument in Christ s death to its visions after Christ s death, burial, and resurrection. I felt the
Rood s agony as it became an unwilling participant in the death of the Lord. The purpose of this
